What is the benefit of Zoho Sprints for Scrum teams?
Scrum teams that work remotely need a digital solution for their agile project management. Zoho Sprints is perfectly suited for this because it uses many terms from the Scrum world such as stories, epics, board and so on.
Scrum is a project management method developed by the US software developers Jeff Sutherland and Ken Schwaber in the 1990s and has become very popular in recent years. It’s a term that rugby fans might already be familiar with. When applied to the world of work, the scrum is simply the huge mountain of projects and associated tasks that can only be dealt with effectively if they are well structured and managed.
How do Scrum teams work?
Scrum teams identify what a particular user wants and then create ``user stories``. These stories are recorded on a Scrum board. Tasks are assigned to each story, and their progress is documented in additional columns A column for tasks that still need to be done (``To do``). A column for tasks that are currently in progress (``In progress``). And one for tasks that are already completed (``Done``). This is how larger projects are divided into time-limited ``sprints``. The goal is that at the end of each sprint, the tasks end up in the ``done`` section and an intermediate result is available that can be tested and evaluated (by the users). The feedback then flows into the next sprints.
In agile project management, larger projects are broken down into smaller ones (sprints) that can be worked on by (often interdisciplinary) teams in a short period of time and that yield interim results. Each interim result is followed by feedback, which in turn is used for improvements in the next sprints. A key feature of agile teams is also the focus on user experience (UX). After all, the more flexibly you can respond to the needs of users, the faster a product (e.g., software) can be developed and improved.

What is meant by…
Board
The tasks and progress of a Sprint are made visible on a Scrum board. As a rule, the Scrum board is divided into four columns. On the far left are the user stories, each of which has its own tasks. The tasks are assigned to three columns that indicate the progress. They include tasks that still need to be done, tasks that are in progress, and tasks that have already been done.
Epic
In the Scrum world, an “epic” is a challenge or request that is so large that it should be broken down into smaller units: the so-called user stories.
Sprint
In agile methods such as Scrum, large projects are broken down into smaller components, known as “sprints”. These are time-limited and made up of clearly defined tasks that are recorded in sprint planning at the beginning of the sprint.
User Story
A user story specifies the needs that the user of a particular product has or could have and the requirements that result from this for the product. Each user story brings with it concrete tasks that are noted on the Scrum board.
