Why do we need digital signatures?

How does a digital signature work?
Absolutely not by placing your signature on a piece of paper, then scanning it and, then, adding it to a digital document as a small image file! A legally valid digital signature is created by the software with the help of certificates and is associated with a digital ID. Once created, this validated electronic signature can replace your handwritten signature.
How secure and legally valid are digital signatures?
According to the European eIDAS regulation, digital signatures are recognized as legally valid. The Zoho Sign software supports the requirements of known electronic signature laws, including the ESIGN Act in the USA and the EIDAS Regulation of the European Union.
